President and Chief Executive Officer, Grace Hill Health Centers
Alan Freeman, MBA, FACHE is President and CEO at Grace Hill Health Centers. GHHC is a community health center (CHC) that serves more than 46,000 patients annually, and provides a wide array of enabling and community health services. Alan’s professional experience spans 25 years, including senior executive roles in three Missouri hospitals. He was CEO at Cass Medical Center in Harrisonville from 1996 to 2002. He was also CEO at Missouri Highlands Health Care, a CHC that serves seven rural counties, from 2002-2006. For a few months in 2013, Alan served in the cabinet of Missouri Governor Jay Nixon, as Director of the Department of Social Services. Alan is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is an adjunct associate professor in the Management Department at Webster University. In March of 2013, Alan completed the coursework component of a Doctor of Management degree at Webster. Alan serves on several boards and commissions, including the St. Louis Regional Health Commission, Missouri Primary Care Association, Behavioral Health Network of St. Louis, and the St. Louis Integrated Health Network.
