Gianna Martelli, MSW

Community Referral Coordinator

Gianna started with the IHN in September 2016 and currently works as a Community Referral Coordinator in the Emergency Room of SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital.  She has a B.S. in Psychology and a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago.  Her area of interest and expertise lie in integrating behavioral health with primary care, linkage between physical and mental health, and working with individuals and families facing chronic illness.  She serves on the IHN Transition of Care Task Force and the Behavioral Health Network (BHN) Hospital Community Linkages Liaisons Committee.  Gianna is new to the St. Louis community and looks forward to engaging in a community volunteer organization.  When asked why she is glad to be a part of the IHN and its commitment to excellence, Gianna states, “I’m excited to work for an organization that has the unique opportunity to focus both on working individually with patients as well as working with the major stakeholders on collaboration and integration to help move forward with more accessible and affordable health care services.”
