About Nurana Jafarova, MBA, MSW
Nurana started with the IHN in September 2019 as a Community Referral Coordinator at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital Emergency Department. She graduated with an MBA from Azerbaijan State University of Economics and an MSW from Washington University, St. Louis. Her interest and expertise are in women’s reproductive mental health. She participates on the IHN’s Transition of Care Task Force. When asked why she is glad to be a part of the IHN and its commitment to excellence, Nurana shares, “IHN is doing incredible work towards health equity and racial equity here in St. Louis with a specific focus on the uninsured and medically underserved population. I am very honored to be a part of the IHN’s impactful work by being in direct contact with the target population and connecting them with the medical and social services they need.”
