IHN Workforce Development Work Group:
• IHN Workforce Development Work Group celebrates a successful health center career event on
March 12 and the recruitment of 8-9 strong candidates with confirmed financial assistance for
the shared Medical Assistant training cohort. While the work group has decided to postpone the
start of the MA Cohort, it intends to maintain project momentum to the extent possible while
being respectful of the current demands placed on health centers and human resources
personnel. The need for well-trained Medical Assistants will not diminish and may be even more
critical in the future.
