About Dr. Kendra Holmes
Dr. Kendra Holmes is a St. Louis native and graduate of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She currently serves as President/Chief Executive Officer for Affinia Healthcare (formerly Grace Hill Health Centers, Inc.) Affinia Healthcare consists of eleven locations which provide primary and preventive health services to underserved residents of St. Louis City and County. Dr. Holmes oversees health center operations including: nursing, laboratory, radiology, quality improvement, facilities, security, maternal child, and homeless services. She serves as director of pharmacy operations.
Dr. Holmes started her career at Affinia Healthcare in 2003 as a staff pharmacist. Within two years, she was promoted to Director of Pharmacy Services. In 2012, she was promoted to Director of Pharmacy and Radiology services. In 2014, she was again promoted to Vice President of Clinical Integration and Ancillary Services. In July of 2015 she was named Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Holmes received the St. Louis College of Pharmacy Distinguished African American Alumni Award in 2013. She also serves on the St. Louis College of Pharmacy Board of Trustees. Dr. Holmes is a member of the 2015 St. Louis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class and received the St. Louis American Foundation’s Excellence in Healthcare Award in 2016. Dr. Holmes serves on the board of HealthWorks Museum. The mission of the HealthWorks Museum is to inspire children to make positive health choices.
Dr. Holmes has a passion for improving the lives of underserved populations. She is an advocate for social and economic justice. As a part of St. Louis County Prosecutor Wesley Bell’s Transition Team, Dr. Holmes leads the Diversion and Treatment Initiatives.
