The St. Louis Integrated Health Network (IHN) is a healthcare intermediary building capacity across sectors to advance health equity and improve wellbeing by increasing access to health and social services, with an emphasis on communities that have been historically excluded.

Access to quality healthcare is essential to the physical and spiritual growth and wellbeing of all communities. Through collaboration and partnership, we strive for quality, accessible, and affordable healthcare services for all residents of Metropolitan St. Louis.

“True engagement creates partnership from the very beginning- from the design, implementation, evaluation, community dissemination and finds synergy between what was needed in our communities and teams skill-set and ability to affect change. We have a collective social responsibility.”

— Kelly McKay-Gist, IHN Vice President of Health Equity, Culture, and Innovation

Our Story

The IHN began in 2003 as a group of safety net providers working together to improve access to care, enhance the quality of care, achieve cost efficiencies, and optimize patient outcomes.

Since then, we’ve evolved into a healthcare intermediary working with our partners to improve the quality, accessibility, and affordability of healthcare for St. Louis’s medically vulnerable citizens. See the mission and values that guide our work and learn more about our history.
