The St. Louis Integrated Health Network (IHN), in partnership with United Way of Greater St. Louis, Soulcial Kitchen, Empowered Thriving Communities (ETC), and the region’s Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), is launching a weekly series of community meal distributions to support families experiencing ongoing food access challenges through the holiday season.

Beginning Thursday, December 11, 2025, partners will provide over 100 nutritious hot meals at each participating site. Meal distribution will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Additional weekly events will occur on Tuesdays—December 16, December 23, and December 30—with distribution site details for those dates to be announced.

Last month, IHN, the FQHCs, and community partners served more than 1,000 meals across these same health center locations in response to the federal government shutdown, during which families experienced interruptions to SNAP and WIC benefits. This new meal distribution series expands on that effort, helping ensure that families—especially women, infants, and children—can continue to access nutritious food and essential resources during this period of uncertainty.
