At IHN, we know getting ready for a new school year isn’t just about supplies—it’s about making sure children feel supported from day one. 📅 Back to School Sales Tax Holiday
By Missouri state law, the Back to School Sales Tax Holiday begins on the first Friday in August and runs through the following Sunday. Certain back-to-school purchases—like clothing, school supplies, computers, and more—are exempt from sales tax during this weekend only.
For 2025, the Sales Tax Holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, August 1, and runs through Sunday, August 3.
Missouri allows you to purchase:
✅ $50 worth of school supplies
✅ $100 in clothing
✅ Up to $3,500 in computers — all tax-free
