As a healthcare intermediary, our mission is to build capacity across various sectors to advance health equity and improve wellbeing.
Our role extends beyond providing access to essential healthcare services. We also work alongside our partners — who represent 90% of the region’s safety net providers — to address the social and structural determinants of health that contribute to avoidable adverse health outcomes and disparities.
To guide this work, the IHN team embarked on a robust, research-driven strategic planning process, culminating in the development of four strategic pillars. These pillars act as our roadmap for transforming the healthcare landscape in our region and beyond.
