Christopher B. Dennis, MBA, MPA
Christopher B. Dennis, is a native Louisianan, who has over 25 years of healthcare, business management, and operations experience. Christopher currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Betty Jean Kerr People’s Health Centers.
Christopher holds, along with numerous Leadership certificates, a Master’s degree in Public Health Administration that he obtained from Grambling State University, and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Washington University. Fresh out of graduate school, with his 1st Master’s, Christopher launched his professional career as Chief Operating Officer for David Raines Community Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. His tenure at this center influenced development of his ongoing empathy for seniors and the indigent population he served.
Christopher’s career path includes a tenure of more than 23 years as a Health Care Compliance Executive with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he garnered a progressive comprehensive background in healthcare fraud, compliance monitoring, risk assessment, budgeting, negotiations, policy/procedure/client and relationships development were all obtained.
Christopher developed a wealth of experience, which included creating and leading the highest producing region in the country as Special Agent in Charge and closing his federal career as executive ranking Senior Advisor.
Christopher remains committed to his positive contributions to the communities he lives and works in. He is a recipient of numerous awards and accolades from various cities and nationally for his professional and personal contributions.
