Welcome to the St. Louis Integrated Health Network’s (IHN) Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) initiative. Our mission is to improve health, prevent chronic diseases, and reduce health disparities among racial and ethnic populations with the highest risk or burden of disease.
Our Strategies
Our approach is comprehensive and community-driven, focusing on:
- Food Service and Nutrition Guidelines: We work with partners to develop and implement healthy food service guidelines.
- Fruit and Vegetable Vouchers Incentive and/or Produce Prescription Programs: Our programs provide incentives for healthy eating.
- Safe and Accessible Physical Activity: We collaborate with community organizations to create safe spaces for physical activity.
- Family Healthy Weight Programs: We offer programs to help families maintain a healthy weight.
