About Brittany Jones
Brittany Jones began with the IHN in August 2019 as a Community Referral Coordinator based in Community. She graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology, & Criminal Justice from San Diego State University. Prior to the IHN, she was a St. Louis Coro Fellow and Action St. Louis Black Organizing Fellow, which both strengthened her passion in working directly with community members and creating change through meaningful relationships and partnerships. Her interest and expertise are in health promotion, youth empowerment/mentorship, and community engagement. She participates in the IHN Transitions of Care Task Force. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys attending community events and being involved in the efforts pertaining to racial & health equity, black liberation, and reproductive justice. When asked why she is glad to be a part of the IHN and its commitment to excellence, Brittany shares, “I am inspired by IHN’s dedication to advance and sustain health equity and am excited to be a part of their incredible and supportive family.”
